ABOUT THE DUNBAR PAVILION
The Dunbar Pavilion is a living landmark of Tucson’s African American history. Originally established as the segregated Dunbar School in 1913, this historic campus educated generations of Black students and became a center of community life. Today, the Dunbar Pavilion honors that legacy by preserving our history and creating space for arts, culture, education, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and community connection.
