Comprehensive technology training workshop designed specifically for adults 60 and older to bridge the digital divide and enhance quality of life through practical digital skills.

Workshops are conducted on a continuing basis on the following dates and times:
Mondays: 1:00PM – 2:00PM
Wednesdays: 10:00AM – 11:00AM
4th Saturday of each month: 11:00AM – 12:00PM

Tech Lab at Dunbar Pavilion
A Digital Learning Hub for Adults, Entrepreneurs, Youth, and Families
The Dunbar Tech Lab is a modern, community-centered space designed to close the digital divide and support lifelong learning. Whether you’re starting a business, completing a school assignment, applying for a job, or simply learning a new digital skill—the Tech Lab is here for you.
The Tech Lab provides:

Free computer access and high-speed WiFi

Digital literacy training

Support for online applications, forms, and creative projects

Space for entrepreneurs to work on branding, content, and business development

A welcoming staff ready to help with everyday tech challenges

A safe, inclusive environment grounded in the values of access, education, and empowerment

In partnership with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, we offer free tax preparation services to help low- to moderate-income families file their taxes accurately and on time. Wednesdays at 3:30PM in the Tech Lab.

OATS (Older Adults Technology Services):
Empowering older adults with technology skills, our partnership with OATS provides workshops and classes to enhance digital literacy, bridge generational gaps, and foster connections through technology.
Educational and Mentorship Programs:
The Dunbar Pavilion is proud to house organizations committed to delivering vital services, including educational workshops, youth mentorship, and professional development opportunities that uplift the community.
Business Empowerment Center:
A space designed to support small Black-owned businesses, solopreneurs, and intrapreneurs. The center offers office-sharing opportunities, networking events, workshops, and resources to foster growth and sustainability.
Cultural Events and Community Engagement:
From the Heritage and Harmony Holiday Market to First Friday mixers, the Dunbar Pavilion hosts events that celebrate Black culture, support local businesses, and strengthen community bonds.
Supporting Nonprofit Organizations:
The Dunbar Pavilion is home to a variety of nonprofits focused on education, mentoring, and community advocacy, creating a network of resources that address the diverse needs of our community.
