The Dunbar Pavilion is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors committed to responsible stewardship, sound governance, and the advancement of our mission. The Board works in partnership with Executive Director Freda Marshall, who leads the Dunbar Pavilion’s daily operations, programs, partnerships, preservation efforts, and community engagement.

Freda Marshall
Executive Director
Freda Marshall has served as Executive Director of the Dunbar Pavilion since 2023. She leads the organization’s daily operations, fundraising, grant management, programming, partnerships, facility stewardship, tenant relations, and strategic growth.
With a background in nonprofit leadership, learning and development, human services counseling, emotional intelligence, and community engagement, Freda brings both operational experience and a people-centered approach to the role. Her leadership is focused on honoring the Dunbar Pavilion’s history while building the structure, resources, and partnerships needed to carry its mission forward.
