EarthSeed Rising Arts Collective presents We Are the Art: Dandyism in America and the African Diaspora, a vibrant visual art experience celebrating Black Dandyism as style, resistance, and self-definition. The event takes place Friday, February 13, 2026, from 5:00–8:30 PM at the Historic Dunbar Culture and Arts Center, 325 W. 2nd St., Tucson. Admission is free, with donations encouraged.
The exhibition explores Dandyism across America and the African Diaspora, including the influence of La SAPE, where fashion becomes cultural pride and political expression. Guests are invited to walk the red carpet and dress to impress. Original artwork by EarthSeed Rising Arts Collective will be on display and available for purchase throughout the Dunbar Center.
Special highlights include a Buffalo Soldiers tribute, cultural artifacts, and music by the Siloam Choir—creating an evening of history, elegance, and cultural celebration.
